Lassi namkeen

Ingredients :

Fresh curd – 2 cups

Milk – ½ cup

Ginger (Finely chopped) – 1 teaspoon

Green chilly (Finely chopped) – ½ teaspoon

Black pepper (Crushed) – ¼ teaspoon

Fresh coriander (Chopped) – 1 tablespoon

Mint leaves (Chopped) – 1 tablespoon

Black salt – 1 teaspoon or to taste

Cumin seeds powder – ½ teaspoon

To garnish.

A pinch of paprika

A spring of mint

Method :

To make namkeen lassi take curd, black salt, cumin seeds powder, milk, crushed black pepper in a blender and blend till smooth and creamy.

Transfer to a bowl or jug. Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix.

Check salt, you might want to adjust it. Masala chaas is ready.

Chill in the refrigerator.

Just before serving, give a final mix as the spices usually settle at the bottom.

Pour into serving glasses. You may add some ice cubes.

Garnish with a pinch of paprika and a spring of mint and serve.
