Nimbu pani

Ingredients :

2 lemons or 3 limes

2 glasses of water

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp rock salt or black salt as required

1 tbsp sugar (may need to add more)

½ tsp chaat masala

4-5 mint leaves

a few ice cubes

Method :

Put the water in a jug

Slice the lemon and squeeze in the juice with the lemon squeezer, discarding any seeds.

Add sugar, black salt, cumin powder, chat masala, mint leaves, and ice-cubes.

Mix it all until the sugar dissolves and check the seasoning, adjust if you need to.

Pour into tall glasses and add lemon slices if using. Serve chilled.
