Kesar paneer pilau
Ingredients :
1 cup basmati rice
2 tablespoon saffron
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 tablespoon ghee
1 3/4 cup water
salt as required
2 tablespoon raisins
6 clove
Method :
Step 1
To make Kesar and Milk mixture, take a bowl and add warm milk and a pinch of saffron in it. Set it aside. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water at least for 15 minutes.
Step 2
In a pressure cooker, heat ghee, jeera and cloves and allow them to splutter. Add raisins to the mixture and mix it well.
Step 3
Drain the rice and add it to the pressure cooker. Next, pour a cup of water and add turmeric powder and mix it well.
Step 4
Add salt as per your taste. Now cover the pressure cooker and cook until 2 whistles blow on medium flame.Turn off the flame and release the pressure.
Step 5
Once the pressure gets released, open the cooker and add the milk and saffron. Stir the rice and mix it well. Cover and let it rest for 5 mins. Serve hot with love.
