Aloo dum
Ingredients :
5 potato
1 teaspoon salt
5 red chilli
2 medium onion
2 tomato
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon turmeric
Method :
Step 1
Soak whole red chillies in lukewarm water for 5 minutes, let them cool once done. Take onions, grind them in a mixer, when they are done keep aside. Take the potatoes, fork it by using fork spoon so that potatoes taste good. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the potatoes, then transfer them on an absorbent paper to soak the extra oil.
Step 2
Now take tomatoes, turmeric, garam masala, salt and soaked sabut red chillies in a mixer and grind all these ingredients together.
Step 3
Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add onions mixture and saute them for a minute. When onions get fried, add tomato mixture saute them untill the mixture get fried.
Step 4
Add the deep fried potatoes in the cooker, mix them well and saute the potatoes for a minutes add milk and some water, you can use curd also. Mix well and cover the pressure cooker whistle it for 2 or 3. And your Dum aloo curry is ready.
Step 5
Place the dum aloo curry on a bowl served it with coriander leaves, have it with kulcha, roti or plain rice.
