Bhindi masaledar
Ingredients :
500 gm okra
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 tablespoon dry mango powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
2 1/2 tablespoon coriander powder
1 1/2 tablespoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
4 tablespoon refined oil
1 tablespoon chaat masala powder
Method :
Step 1 Wash and make a slit in the centre of Bhindi
To prepare this mouth-watering Stuffed Bhindi recipe, take the bhindi/okra and wash them well. Once washed, dry them using a soft cloth. Now, take each bhindi and make a cut vertically in the bhindi.
Step 2 Make the masala for filling in the Bhindi
Now, to prepare the masala, take a bowl and add red chilli powder, chaat masala powder, dry mango powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and cumin powder. Mix these nicely to make the flavourful masala.
Step 3 Fill the Bhindi with the masala
Now, using a spoon or your fingers whichever feels comfortable fill each bhindi with the masala prepared. Once done, let them sit aside.
Step 4 Stir fry the filled Bhindi and serve hot chapati
Now, put an iron skillet over medium flame and add oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add stuffed bhindi in it. Stir fry the bhindi on medium flame only. Cook until the bhindi are tender and soft. Once done, serve hot with chapati.
